| Abstract: |
| Jinchuan copper-nickel mine a large scale polymetallic sulphide deposit with high comprehensive utilization. The paper investigated mineral compositions of the ore and the associations between the minerals. Based on the investigations the factors influencing copper and nickel floatabilties were discussed, including ore oxidation rate, ore metamorphosing, cementation filling material, ore properties of deposit area one and two as well as MgO content and so on. The discussions are very helpful for a further study on new technology to enhance Cu-Ni flota- tion performances and reduce the MgO content in concentrates. |
