| Abstract: |
| The liner of tube mills is very easy to be abraded in the process of grinding. This results in large liner consumption. In this paper the abrasion reason of high-manganese steel liner is analyzed. The result indicates inapplicability of manganese steel to making liner. And meanwhile tests are conducted on mills with low alloy mild steel as its liner, showing that life of low alloy mild steel is twice as much as that of high manganese.As a conclusion,the paper suggests that low alloy mild steel be applicable to liner,and take the place of high manganese steel. |
