| Abstract: |
| Mathematical models of flow and heat transfer process in rotary kilns are summarized in this paper, and the bed model, freeboard gas model, refractory wall model and the global model of the kiln are discussed separately. Meanwhile, bed behavior, the influence of mixing condition and the development of bed flow model which are involved in the study of heat transfer models are mentioned here. Furthermore, the dynamic model, combustion model and the disposal of the calcining reaction are presented briefly. In conclusion, the trend of the heat transfer model in rotary kilns is put forward. |
