Abstract:
      The mineral with the free carbon coating , which has the poor electric conductivity, can be analyzed directly by means of the analytical technique of SEM-EDX under low vacuum level condition , thus the carbon-spraying process can be overleaped, analytical time can be shorten, and the determinate error caused by the poor electric conductivity can be decreased . Based on the test results,authors recognize that the analytic results obtained are satisfying if we pay attention to select the suitable vacuum level and the size of the mineral analyzed is larger enough.
