| Abstract: |
| The desulfurization effect for both CaO-AI203-MgO-SiO2 and CaO-Al2O3-MgO-SiO2-CaF2 refining slag are studied in ladle furnace process. The results show that desulfurizing rates are 68.47 % and 89.25 %, respectively. The later slag system which was mainly composed with CaO 50 % - 55 %, A1203 9 % - 12 %, MgO 5 % - 6 %, SiO216 % - 19 % and CaF2 4 % - 6 %, can minimize the sulfur content in steels to 0. 001%. |
