Abstract:
      In order to effectively utilize the ascharite minerals which contain low grade B2O3,the paper studies the vacuum-thermal reduction of ascharite and deoxygenize magnesia into magnesium with calcium carbide as reductant.The orthogonal test shows that the best reducing condition is reduction temperature with 1453K,reduction time with 2h,briquetting pressure with 35MPa,excess reductant with 10%,and then the reduction degree can reach 64.5% under this condition.After treated,the residue of reduction process cont...
