| Weibull distribution is widely used in modern engineering fields,particularly in the field of reliability analysis.After a brief introduction of the early ideas put forward by Weibull to use this form of distribution in formulation of a statistical theory of material strength,this paper reviews the application of this theory in description of particle-breakage and mathematical modelling of comminution in terms of breakage probability and fragment size distribution. |
