Abstract:
By volumetric precipitation method of EDTA, Nd concentration in two phases of D2EHPA-HCl-HAc extraction system is determined in the conditions of pH >1 for studying the effect on distribution ratio of Nd by the variety of acidy and extractant concentration. Furthermore, by infrared spectrum testing and analysis of D2EHPA and the organic phase loading Nd, the effect on extraction mechanism of Nd in D2EHPA-HCl-HAc extraction system by acidy is also studied. Whereby, the extraction equilibrium constant can be calculated. The results show that displacement reaction between Nd(Ⅲ) and P-OH happens and the extraction process abide by cation exchange mechanism in the condition of pH>1. Nd(Ⅲ) and P= O also do coordination complex action at the same time. And extraction equilibrium constant KNd is 100.28.
