| This paper summarized the characteristics of azeotropic distillation, classification and the selection of entrainer．Azeotropic distillation is divided into homogeneous and heterogeneous azeotropic distillation，according to the azeotropic mixture can be separated into two immiscible liquid．Recent progress in application and reserach of azeotropic distillation technology are introduced，the advantages and prospect in technology of heteorgeneous azeotropic distillation are also put forward． |
