| The paper introduced the basic principle and application situation of discrete element method, summarized the discrete element software program of PFC, and classifying summarized the application status of PFC in mineral engineering from the four aspects of geotechnical engineering, granular separation processing work, etc. Reached that PFC have a huge potential applicated in mining engineering, and need more work to ensure the accuracy and high efficiency of simulation limited to its limitation and current calculation level , finally discussed the further application feasibility in mineral processing areas detailedly |
