Abstract:
      In this paper, the mineral processing research has been carried out for solving production problems of Xiaomaoshan copper lead and zinc mine, A novel processing technology has been developed to recover copper and lead by bulk-flotation and separation, followed by zinc-flotation. For the separation of copper and lead ,a new non-toxic depressant THB-2 has been used, which has the advantage of eliminating conventional dewatering and reagent removal process. The goal of Cu/Pb/Zn -separation for the Xiaomaoshan multi-metallic ore has been achieved and this process has now been successfully applied to the industrial production. The technology for the bulk-flotation and separation of copper and lead has the flow structure to be simple, compatible, the separation efficiency high characteristic and opened new avenues of Cu-Pb separation in China.
