| Abstract: |
| Amorphous boron powder of 95 percent was coated and agglomerated by spray drying method. And the effects of different process parameters and different coupling agent on the agglomeration and coat were studied. It was found that coupling agent can effectively improve the mechanical strength of agglomerate particles, especially the A1 coupling agent is suitable for the slurry system. The results showed that the method can effectively control the particle morphology and size aggregates by controlling of spray parameters with a high recovery rate and it is suitable for mass production. The coated and agglomerated boron powder has appropriate solvent, good flow properties and lower surface area. |
