Abstract:
This paper introduces the determining method and its principal of rock mass mechanics parameters selection in terms of Hoek-Brown Method, and taking the determination of rock mass mechanical parameters of a copper mine as an example, establishes a deep mining model of this mine by three-dimensional finite difference method FLAC3D which can carry on project quality inspection of the determined mechanics parameters. The numeric result indicates that the calculated value of ground subsidence is fit to measured value basically after the third phase ore body mining, which shows the determined mechanics parameters can be used as the calculating foundation data for the surface deformation and ore body movement during fourth phase ore body deep sustaining mining, at the same time, it also shows that the Hoek-Brown Method determining mechanics parameters has important reference to practical project.
