Abstract:
      The velocity distribution along the radius direction is very important for designing of a fixed-bed reactor, In this paper, a 3-d physical models and mathematic models for the gas flow in an axial-flow fixed-bed reactor are established .Very detailed velocity distribution in the reactor are obtained . The effects of the hole- diameter and the porosity of the air distributor on distribution of the flow field are studied. Some optimizing suggests of the air distributor are proposed.
