| Abstract: |
| Based on Virtools, a developing approach of mining virtual reality system is proposed. 3DsMax Modeling software is adopted to establish the complex mining model, which is used to form texture map, thus the virtual scene of mining is established. The users can freely roam in the mining area, by which, safety education and site teaching can be done to the mine staff by the system. |
