Abstract:
      The iron minerals in Yunnan iron ore occur mainly in form of magnetite, with fine disseminated particles and low grade of iron (20.18%) . The harmful element sulphur exceeds standard range and can be sorted as refractory ore .Through study on mineral ore properties, the process of stage grinding- stage separation-reverse floatation is proposed to process the ore and the iron concentrate with iron grade of 64.15%, recovery rate of 70.67% and sulfur grade of 0.26% is obtained, which solves the problem of low grade iron resources, fine disseminated particles and high sulfur grade.
