Abstract:
Thorough study on mineralogy of silver in residue and flotation recovery from wet zinc smelting slag, which indicates that: zinc slag consists of 10 kinds of mineral, and the main silver minerals are native silver, gold and silver ore, the main metal minerals are iron acid zinc, pyrite, and the main non-metallic minerals are arsenopyrite, residual quartz feldspar, chlorite. The nature of slag ore is very special and the disseminated relationships are complex, which makes the slag very difficult to separate. Through adopting mixed flotation flowsheet experiment, under the situation of primary silver grade of 80g/t, the silver concentrate of grade of 6517.50g/t with recovery rate of 71.57% is obtained.
