Abstract:
Through mineralogical study on some high silicon zinc oxide ore, it is found out that zinc mainly exists in forms of hemimorphite. The sample is treated by the method of hydrothermal sulphidation technology and the effect of reaction time, temperature, and dosage of sulfur on sulphidation conversion rate of zinc oxide is investigated. The experimental result shows that the sulphidation conversion rate of zinc oxide reaches 79.8% under the conditions of sulphidization temperature of 200 ℃, sulphidization time of 240 min as well as the dosage of sulfur is 1.5 times of theoretical dosage.
