Abstract:
      Summarizes the current situation of cobalt removal in the purification process of zinc hydrometallurgy in domestic and foreign, including the basic principle,the main flow,the advantage and disadvantage,and the application prospects of various cobalt removal methods,which povides reference to the new plants of zinc hydrometallurgy for choosing the cobalt removal technology.Now in domestic,adding antimonic salt for zinc powder replacement as an activating agent to remove cobalt is widely used,while the dominant application in foreign is β-naphthol purification to remove cobalt.From the point of view of safety, environmental protection, and the economic etc,the alloy zinc powder purification and the antimonic salt purification has a relatively extensive future,before no better cobalt removal methods is applied in industrialization.
