Abstract:
The trace cadmium and lead in zinc electrolyte were determined simultaneously by Differential Pulse Polarography and by anodic stripping voltammetry. The sensitive stripping peaks of cadmium and lead were found at -0.6V and -0.4V, respectively. The standard addition method was selected to analyze trace cadmium and lead in zinc electrolyte. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the relative standard deviations were 3.11% and 3.12%, the recovery rate were 96.0%~100.4% and 96.4%~104.0%, respectively. The results were satisfactory.
