| Abstract: |
| The iron tailings of Yunnan Dahongshan Iron ore is of characteristics of fine granularity and low grade. The iron ore content is mainly hematite which is difficult to be effectively recycling by conventional mineral processing technology. This test uses the joint process of magnetic and gravity separation technology which includes pre-cast tailings with high-intensity magnetic and cleaning with pending and vibrating Cone Concentrator. The above approach effectively recovers iron minerals in the tailings with the tailings grade dropped to 10.45%, and grade iron concentrate output reaches 54.02% with recovery rate of 34.68%. |
