| Abstract: |
| The roof fall, rib spalling, closure deformation of the cavity are serious geological hazard, which is of bad influence and even threatens the mining personnel’s life. The traditional monitoring measures have many shortcomings, such as limited data obtained, difficult to monitor the unmanned cavity, and not able to calculate the volume of the cavity accurately. In order to solve above problems, this paper develops a high precision three dimensional laser deformation monitoring system, which can scan the cavity shape fast, calculate the volume of the cavity, and mark the deformation area. At the same time, this system realizes remote controlling; the operator is not necessary to work in the locale. The resolution of the monitoring system can reach 2cm. If combined with the Microseisms system, the cavity stability evaluation can be realized, which will improve the effect to monitor the cavity dramatically. |
