Abstract:
In the medium of hydrochloric acid, without colour-display reagent, scanning on the ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer within wavelength range of 300~400 nm, the absorbency in 359.0nm can be read and the concentration of nitrite can be calculated by working curve, which establishes a simple, sensitive and highly- selective method to measure the solution of zinc hydrometallurgy. According to the law of Beer as the concentration of nitrite within the range of 5~200mg/L, the mole absorption coefficient is 3.68×104L?mol-1?cm-1, the limit of this method is 5.36mg/L. the standardized recovery of real samples is between 100%~105%. By this method, some measurements have been done to the solution of secondary refine and solution of electrowinning from a factory respectively, with relatively satisfied results.
