| Abstract: |
| A method for the determination of arsenic in laterite nickel ores by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HG-AFS) with thiourea-ascorbic acid hydrochloride as masking and reducing reagent has been proposed. The optimum experimental parameters, the effect of coexistent elements on the determination of arsenic, the precision and recovery of the method are investigated. The method can be applied to the determination of 0.005%~0.1% arsenic in laterite nickel ores. |
