| Abstract: |
| By making measurements of zeta potential of apatite and quartz, the concentration of dissolving calcium ion in apatite suspension, and the experiments of sodium hexametaphosphate complexation with calcium ion and on, the selectivity disappear when selective flocculation separate apatite and quartz, which was mainly due to two reasons.A part of very fine apatite particles may cover on the surface of quartz particles, owing to those apatite particles surface adsorption some dose flocculant, making quartz particles built a indirect "bridging" with apatite particles and generate serious heteroflocculation. In addition, the apatite flocs had coacervation and net-capture function to quartz particles in sedimentation, which also lead to the lower flocculation selectivity. |
