| Abstract: |
| The efficiency of a fixed bed reactor is mainly depended on the uniformity of velocity distribution. In this paper, the performance of gas flow in the free entrance of a fixed-bed reactor is numerically studied. The advantages of gas flow field with a gas pre-distributor are analyzed. The structure of the gas pre-distributor, including the porosity, hole-diameter, hole position and the distributor size are optimized. Some optimizing suggests of the air pre-distributor are proposed. |
