| Abstract: |
| The safety operation of tailings dam is the necessary conditions to ensure that the tailings dam is steady. In view of Jiangxi a tailings dam, the thesis achieved the work of field investigation and sampling, and analyzed the dam composite and tailings deposition law. the study of dam stability was carried out in the different working conditions and the disaster prevention measures was discussed. The research results indicated that: from dam to inside in the tailings dam, it was very obvious that the change trend was from coarse to fine with the tailings. However, the change trend of tailings from coarse to fine was not obvious from top to down in the tailings dam. The change was slow in the deposited beach, the slope is relatively flat, and it had not tailings mud in the tailings dam. When the tailings dam run in normal operation condition and flood operation condition, the calculated safety factor could meet the standard requirements and the dam was in a stable state. However, the safety factor is far lower than the standard requirements in full saturation condition and seismic condition. The stability of dam is reduced significantly, which led to the tailings dam in a unstable state. |
