Abstract:
As coal fired power plants in domestic and overseas to the attention of the mercury pollution, it has important significance that developing and promoting an economic and effective control mercury technology. As a common efficient adsorbent, activated carbon has been studied in the flue gas to take off the mercury. With reading a lot of literature, the influence factors of activated carbon to take off the mercury have been introduced in this paper in view of the present situation of activated carbon, and the adsorption types of the activated carbon for mercury removal were been summarized. Through the present understanding of mercury control technology, the study showed that the improved flue gas environment and modified activated carbon could enchance the mercury removal rate.
