Abstract:
ABSTRACT:A mathematical model is established by the Solidworks and Adams software system in order to determine the technical parameters of crown-block heave compensation device’s key components. The crown-block heave compensation device is simulated dynamically. The motion characteristics of crane, rocker arm, compensation cylinder are analyzed and the correctness of heave compensation device model is verified. The key compensation efficiency factors of the passive, semi-active heave compensation model are analyzed. The study shows that the compensation efficiency of semi-active heave compensation model is better than passive compensation model. The heave compensation device efficiency is better and better with increasing wave amplitude and volume of accumulator.
