| Abstract: |
| The paper explains the fundamentals of microwave heating, discusses the calefactive characteristic and absorption property of mineral in microwave field. Research progress in application of microwave in mineral processing, including microwave pre-treatment, microwave drying, microwave roasting, microwave-carbothermic reduction, microwave-assisted extraction and the research status of metallurgical process. Analyzed the progress of application of microwave heating in typically technology in recent years, and make a prospect about the application of microwave in typically metallurgy process. |
