Abstract:
A task of polymetallic sulfide ores containing Cu-Zn-S which is difficult to separate has been studied. The mixed concentrate of copper-zinc-sulfur is selected from polymetallic sulfide ores in Xinjiang. It contains 10.60% Cu, 8.94% Zn and 38.78% S. According to the nature of the mixed concentrate, we used the process of grinding the mixed concentrate, followed by separation flotation of copper, zinc and sulfur. The best reagent system is determined by conditional test results as following:The depressants of copper-zinc separation are the combination of ZnSO4 and Na2SO3.The collectors of copper floatation is 432-xanthate which has excellent selectivity. Satisfying selecting targets are attained through close circuit test. The grade of Cu of the copper concentrate is 21.35%, containing 7.34% Zn and the copper recovery is 85.83%. The grade of Zn of the zinc concentrate is 40.42%, and the zinc recovery is 59.06%. The sulfur recovery is 45.53%.
