Abstract:
      The molar Gibbs energy of Ag3Sn and AgZn3, was calculated. The results of zinc interact with Ag-Sn alloy wasinvestigated by using X-Ray Diffraction, chemical analysis, scanning electron microscope and EDS. Thermodynamic calculation results show that it is possible to realise the enrichment of silver in Ag-Sn alloy with zinc for the Gibbs energy of AgZn3 is lower than Ag3Sn.The experiments results show that the zinc is effect for the enrichment of silver in Ag-Sn alloy, the silver exists in the form of AgZn3 and enrichment in the bottom of Ag-Sn alloy when the zinc is added.
