| Abstract: |
| Carried out an pilot plant research on the microwave roasting of high titanium slag to produce synthetic rutile. We adopted uniform design to arrange pilot plant test, verify amplifying standand and determine amplifying parameter. Meanwhile, we investigated the effect of such technological conditions as raw materials size, roasting temperature and the amount of oxygen on microwave roasting of high titanium slag. The result shows that, microwave roasting time is the critical parameter in the oxidation of high titanium slag, and when high titanium slag mass is 120kg/h, roasting time 4h, the optimal process parameters are materials size 275um, roasting temperature 950℃, amount of oxygen as 1.67 m3/(h.kg), rate of oxidation being up to |
