Abstract:
As the open-pit mining depth increases, slope height increase year by year, and gradually form many high and steep slopes. The mining production conditions areSgetting worse, the failure probability of stopes and difficulty of maintenance of slope increasing, and brought tremendous damage and economic loss to mining production and life. The final slope angle is the important factor that affect the mining investment, cost and safety of production. The setting of slope angle has directly impact on the stripping ratio, and ultimately affect the economic benefits of whole production process. So it is necessary to set a safe and economical slope angle. This paper analyse the slope mechanics to calculate the safety coefficient of different slope by using ABAQUS. Finally we get a optimized slope angle through the safety coefficient.
