Abstract:
      In this paper, the silane coupling agent KH-570 was used for modifying the surface of talc. The optimal conditions of experiment were ensured by the determination of activation degree and sedimentation volume. The results indicated that the effect of surface modification for talc was optimal when the initial slurry concentration was 12.5 %, reaction temperature was 70 ?C, the content of coupling agent was 20 %(mass), the modification time was 2.0 h.
