| Abstract: |
| Red mud is the main waste in the process of alumina production,with the rapid development of alumina industry, the increasing emission of red mud bring great burden to the society and the environment. This paper briefly introduces the composition and the basic properties of red mud and the comprehensive utilization research status nationally and internationally from extraction of valuable metals,construction industry and ceramic industry,etc, forecasts the prospect of the comprehensive utilization of red mud. |
