Abstract:
Stability control of the head face’s top-coal is one of the key techniques of realizing high production and high efficiency to coal mining in fully mechanized top-coal caving face. This paper used numerical simulation software UDEC, analyses the different characteristics such as tip to face, working resistance of support, stent anterior column trend angle, main roof and immediate roof thickness. The result shows that as the distance of tip to face increasing, the roof falling height and coal wall sloping depth increased; For control the roof falling height, working resistance of support and stent anterior column trend angle have a suitable critical parameters; The main roof and immediate roof thickness have directly affect on roof failure depth, and then quantitative analysis those affect factors, supply the reasonable stent structure and parameters, reducing the coal face roof fall accidence and the loss of resources, and has important guiding significance for the similar geological conditions of production caving.
