| Abstract: |
| Iodide process is one of the most effective methods for purification of zirconium metal. The crystal bar zirconium made by the iodide process has the advantage of the higher purity, lower content of the gas impurities and better processing performance etc. The 99.9% crystal bar zirconium can be obtained by the iodide process using the zirconium sponge as the raw materials. In this paper, the principle of iodide method was sketched; the iodide equipment and the progress of the influencing factors were summarized. |
