Abstract:
To solve environmental pollution of obvious poisonous black smoke and fetid odor from the incomplete oxidization of toxic flue gas when printed circuit boards (PCBs) are disposed with copula, shaft furnace or blast furnace, a new high-temperature incineration and smelting composite-type furnace of waste PCBs composed by a short rotary kiln and a shaft kiln has been developed. The spray combustion of PCB powder and metal melting is completed in its rotary kiln, the toxic flue gas is oxidized completely in its shaft kiln. Semi-industrial experiments show that there is no benzene compound in flue gas, Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) is less than 0.02 ng I -TEQ/Nm3 and Lingeman blackness of flue gas 1; there is no heavy metals pollution in the slag and no extra fuel is needed. The feasibility of high-temperature incineration and smelting process of waste PCBs has been proved, TCDD precursor is eliminated from the source completely under the high-temperature incineration, and the optimization methods of resourcization disposal furnace is the integration of high-temperature combustion, low NOx combustion, slag reduction smelting and flue gas dry quench.
