Abstract:
To guarantee the production is a key problem in the process of transition from open mining to underground mining. The forced block caving mining and sublevel caving without sill pillar are high efficient mining methods which are suitable for mass mining of low grade ore bodies. According to the Xingshan iron mine conditions of the hanging wall ore and underground ore, large parameters sublevel caving without sill pillar, forced block caving with large diameter long hole are proposed. By economic and technic comparing, forced block caving method with large block parameters has the superiors in increasing production and reducing cost.
