Abstract:
The effect of dissolved oxygen(DO) in the pulp on the Eh and flotation recovery of pyrite were investigated.Five kinds of buffer solutions(pH4.00,pH6.86,pH9.18,pH10.01 and pH10.96) were used and five DO level conditions(0.5mg/L,5.8mg/L,10.0mg/L, 13.7mg/L and 19.5mg/L) were tested.Experimental results show that the Eh is enhanced with DO increased and the influence is smaller under alkaline conditions. In addition, flotation recovery is decreased with DO increased and the change is bigger for alkaline conditions.
