| Abstract: |
| An industry slag contained with 9.28% V and 1.85% Ca was used in the experimental. The main phase of vanadium contained in the slag is vanadium-iron spinel. Through the exploring experimental, the Na2CO3 solution was proved to be an effective leaching solution which can be employed to extract V2O5 as well as CaV2O6 from the slag. Thus, the roasting (low calcium)-alkali leaching (Na2CO3) method can be adopted in the recycling of this industry slag. In order to recover vanadium from the slag, several technological parameters were investigated in the experimental. The best roasting temperature and roasting time should maintained at 850℃ and 120min respectively. There is no need to add more CaO as an additive in the roasting process. With the recommended technological parameters for roasting process, the experimental resulted in a vanadium recovery rate of 77.2%. |
