Abstract:
Processes of indium extract by P204 and germanium precipitation by tannic acid were used in this study to extract the rare metals, indium and germanium from the leach liquor which was generated from zinc dust sulfation roasting-leaching process. Using P204 as extractant and hydrochloric acid as stripping agent, the extraction and stripping ratios of indium were greater than 99%. The germanium precipitation by tannic acid from indium raffinate under the optimum conditions was greater than 99%.
