| Abstract: |
| In this paper, the main factors, such as the distillation temperature, the vacuum and the condensing temperature were calculated in details. According to the theory analysis, the process parameters were determined. The distillation device was designed and fabricated by-self. The influence of the device material on purification of calcium by vacuum distillation was studied. The results showed that, it was effectively to prevent the products from being polluted by the materials of the distillation apparatus through electroplating chromium on the inner wall of the device. And, on the basis of the pre-research, after one-step distillation, the calcium content could be about 99.99%, the actively calcium content could reach 99.50%, and the impurities gases contents of the product were as followed, C and N content was both lower than 0.002%, and O content was 0.012%. |
