Abstract:
      The article select the ore form Dongguashan copper mine as the research object, applying the accurate loading and addition of milling balls technology and the related parameters ball mill as the basis, we can compute the initial installation ball diameter and proportion of the ball accurately, according to the quality match principle and eventually determine the 50×60:35×40:30×35=30:25:45 initial adding scheme, then by the contrast test of cast iron segment substitute for steel ball to research the griding effect of cast iron segment as grinding medium in grinding process. Results of the trial indicated that, under the same grinding condition, the middle select size fraction increased 13.43% than the locale scheme, the over grinded size fraction reduced 2.53%, the grinding fineness increased increased 7.89%, cast iron segment can displace steel ball as the new type grinding medium.
