Abstract:
Methods for underground mining stope structure parameters design always failed to face the problem such as fully considering the influence of rock mass stability. In order to solve the problems in an iron mine in Yunnan province, the investigation and analysis of the structure plane in mining upper plate surrounding rock are made, and the Mathews stability chart is used in steeply inclined stope to study the problems exposed surface caving. The analysis suggests that unstable stope drift limit span of 4.37 m, the plate of unstable exposed area of 366 m2, is able to make a reasonable explanation on the phenomenon that some sporadic falling in mine stope. In view of the stope caving goaf cushion layer according to the design of the empirical formula, obtained at the calculation results of cushion thickness of 2.7 m. The results in the actual production, the mine stope parameter optimization has certain guiding significance.
