Abstract:
In order to improve the beneficiation efficiency of copper-molybdenum resources, flotation test research was executed to a copper-molybdenum tailings ores. For the ore was low grade of valuable minerals, fine particle size distribution, complexSinScompositions and high oxidation of cooper, a process of “raw ore-desliming, grit Cu-Mo part-selective flotation, regrinding of rough concentrate followed by multistage cleaning, Cu Mo S bulk flotation, regrinding bulk concentrate followed by Cu Mo-S separation and recovering sulfur from separation tailings ” was developed to recover valuable minerals. For the raw ore with Cu grade of 0.086% and Mo grade of 0.011% , the final closed-circuit experiments obtained a good results that the copper molybdenum mixed concentrate 1 contained Cu 19.05%, Mo 4.32%, with recovery of 22.57% for Cu and 49.71% for Mo respectively, and the copper molybdenum mixed concentrate 2 contained Cu 2.49%, Mo 0.22%, with Cu recovery 2.73% and Mo recovery 2.82%.
