Abstract:
The solid electrolyte cells Pt∣Sb2O5, NaSbO3‖β(β″)-Al2O3‖NaCrO2, Cr2O3∣Pt and Pt∣TeO2, Na2TeO3‖β(β″)-Al2O3‖NaCrO2, Cr2O3∣Pt were assembled using β(β″)-Al2O3 as solid electrolyte, and then formation free energies of NaSbO3 and Na2TeO3 were calculated by measuring the electromotive force (EMF) of cells. The relationship between formation free energy and temperature (700~1300K) for NaSbO3 can be described as ==-655.88 0.2039T±4.10 (kJ/mol) and that for Na2TeO3 in the temperature range of 700~1100K can be described as =-700.35 0.0519T±9.29 (kJ/mol).
