Abstract:
A variety of substance of very high concern exists in beneficiation and metallurgy reagents. They have the following properties: Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic for Reproduction(CMR), Persistent Bioaccumulative and Toxic(PBT), very Persistent, very Bioaccumulative (vPvB). In addition, it also includes a new type of contaminants, POPs, endocrine pollutants, total synthesis of dioxin precursors produced in the smelting process and large amounts of carcinogenic or potentially carcinogenic toxic and hazardous materials. However people are lack of cognitive and supervision of legislation about them. What sets it apart from SVHC, PBT and other single pollution, toxic and hazardous substances pollution about processing reagent has crossed, superimposed and composited with heavy metal pollution which is the world"s largest and most enduring pollution.
