| Abstract: |
| A garnierite laterite ore of Indonesia sintering experiment was carried out, it is concluded that the nickel element and iron element of the laterite ore have the same distribution area by SEM, show that nickel element mainly hosted in the iron minerals. By TG DSC analysis can be obtained when the sample temperature reaches 700℃,most of the water can be removed. The sintering test with quicklime or limestone as the flux had carried out, it is concluded that the suitable fixed carbon ratio of sinter mixture should be around 7.5%,the suitable mixture moisture should be about 19 ~ 23%, the productivity of sintering at about 1.2 to 1.4 t/(m2.h),the sintering yield can reach 75%. |
